Love their donuts. The chocolate filled is mousse, not pudding, which is what I look for. The issue is, we went in and got a ton of different kinds of donuts. But for some reason, even the donut holes, which were in a seperate bag, tasted like lemon zest. I think some lemon found it's way into the donut batter or glaze. My chocolate filled left a lemon flavor in my mouth. Accidents happen, but this is a pretty big one to miss.

They did a horrible job on my half camo half pink camo cake for my daughters party they said they could do it like the picture we shown them but they did not what the did do is put half green frosting and half pink frosting and it was nowhere near camo of any kind they do make good cake but i will never get a customized cake there ever again if i buy from them it will only be what already made and i see it myself because my wife as sweet as she is dose not have the ability to stand up and say this is not what i wanted
Giving them 5 stars but hope the owners will read this review. Sandy's bake shoppe is good but it would go a long way to help if they added a couple of items: something hearty and not just glazed and sugared to death and let things be flavored of what it is supposed to be rather than all sugar. I had the apple turnover and it was great once i peeled the crust of sugar off the top. If i had not peeled the crust of sugar off then it would have been a two bites and throw it away thing. The lemon poppy seed muffins are good. The eclairs are nasty. The bread for the eclair appears to be made from scratch and the filling is decent. The eclair is topped with some of the most waxy disgusting frosting i have had the displeasure to taste. Not sure if it is lard or shortening but if either is used please remove immediately. You are charging gourmet prices, it is time to do gourmet quality...
