I was a customer at Savoy, and I also worked there for a brief period of time. As a customer, it is a phenomenal place to be. The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere is evident as soon as one walks through the glass door covered in seasonal decor. The floors are aged, painted white, and have light stains of tea from the day prior. The ceilings are tall, tea merchandise coating the walls in a strategically placed fashion. Freshly cut flowers often the shade of an Ozark sunset are placed in translucent vases on each table to ensure a natural, warm energy. Then come the sounds of the store. The creaks of the wood floor, the sound of espresso machines steaming fresh milk, teacups delicately being placed back onto a fine saucer, and eventually the sound of light music covering the store in a soft blanket of 30’s and 40’s jazz. As a worker, I found that the most sincere professionalism comes from Bill and Tina Beyer, the owners of the Company. They are the most genuine people who care about the experience of each person who walks through the door. If I could have worked with them everyday, I would never leave. Savoy Fort Smith has undergone intense changes within the last few months and has truly persevered. I thank Savoy for the memories it has given me, and for being a stepping stone in the path of my life. So to Joe, Bill, Tina, and whoever else reads this, thank you.
This review is entirely based on the tea, which is the only thing I've tried. It is great! The staff are also wonderful.
This is a gem is a great place for a spot of tea, a cup of joe, or lunch with friends. Great environment, wonderful food, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great tea, great atmosphere. Dont expect to be in and out though, the wait time can be pretty long, and there aren't that many employees working.
Why does it take 45 minutes to get a cup of tea and a mocha? It's nonsense! Waste of time. Don't know if it tastes good or not, still haven't gotten our drinks.
