This police station does not care about the safety of our community.. We have called the police and tried to speak with police chief about this situation, NOBODY CARES to listen. Now while i am writing this there is a car with 3 hurt teenagers that is hurt because they was racing down park ave. Hit a rock wall. i am tired of dealing with these young kids drag racing down my street. Fort smith police will sure take you to jail for nothing but no enforce no traffic laws in my area (PARK AVE) sorry way to run a police force when we call and cant even get help..... All i ask is do your freaking job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In past de detectives have told me to delete harassing messages & ignore my rapist instead of taking de messages for proof to press charges. They have taken evidence from me & not work on my case.
I have always had the most prompt response and the officer was always as respectful kind and helpful.
Also I have an order of protection against de neighbor across de Street & he was yelling at me & talking to people about me which violates his no 3rd party or any personal contact & I called de police & de cop refused to tell me his name & told me to file an online report & that if they think it's good enough they'll take care of it&he just straight hung uP on me nothing else to hear me out. They were supposed to arrest him that's de point of de protection order.
Most recently an old man as I am a young woman assaulted me. Now let me say that it takes me 20min to WALK down town as it took de 1st cop20 min to DriVe a block around de corner to me. First he let de man run away then chased him with a car. I was wondering if they were on drugs, de cop&de assailant. De 911female phone dispatcher told me I had to wait for de cops as it was very hot &I was complaining about being sick, that man assaulting me &I was alone & he was watching me,&911 hung uP on me they just didn't want to work idk. But later another cop came & officer Dominic & officer chitwood were arguing over which one of them were going to submit my report. They left me to walk home sick, I thought I was going to pass out from heat they dilly dally so bad, with that man in de streets left going my way, who just assaulted me & de 2 of them stayed there staring at me arguing.
Very friendly officers. Very helpful when you need information. Really miss seeing officer Warr there and the courthouse. He was a very good man. But they are all friendly there.
They are not handling their job. They only ever did irrelevant things for me I can only assume so they look busy when they're not. Idk what their problem is but they need to get their act together.
Police used to be a heroes job like Batman or Superman but now days you look at cops de same way as hooligans. More in de way than helping they don't even Doo wop lol
I like the officers I have met thus far. They have been very professional and courteous and I'd like to thank them for the 50. they gathered for my family for Christmas. It really helped.
