Does NOT accept new donors. Two weeks no drug test strips for new donors. Useless waste of time. Call first after 10:30.
I've been to other plasma centers, that only take 1 1/2 hrs to be in and out. Here u can expect to take at least 3 hrs minimum. Plus brought my wife here and they accused her if being a needle junky. She or I have never touched a needle. Unless you absolutely have to have money, I would never prefer this place. Most unprofessional plasma clinic I've ever seen.
Quote from my wife, "The Worker complained about having to work a second shift due to a call-in and without paying attention, JABBED the needle into my arm. It fell out halfway through and I had to call over another worker to fix it just so I could get done."
-Horrid customer service.
-Constant vain bruising.
-Feels like sending my wife into a horror movie the moment she is out of sight.
《《●DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE●》》
Long story:
-Semi-regulars and every week regulars 2-3 hours.
《《●DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE●》》
-Rude untrained workers.
Very short staffed, and the staff that are available almost never talk to you, rather they talk over you to each other. Definitely not a professional place, the staff will stop you and ask for your full name and the last four digits of your social security number in front of multiple other clients.
Due to having Epilepsy, I can't donate or I violate their policy, so my wife goes in for me. We only come every week because I have been struggling to find a job after we got our first home here. Due to the workers being untrained and rude beyond all belief, they like to act like spoiled teenagers working in a fast food place begging to get off the clock. They are very vocal about this and barely interact with any customer first. To get anything done, the customer must forcefully make all first moves. And I don't mean that lightly. None of the workers noticed a guy with blood gushing down his arm until he stopped one and said he felt funny. The sad part was watching that man have to leave for a hospital and he was told that due to not having the thing full of plasma from him, that they wouldn't pay him at all. They can easily screw anyone from getting their money just by saying there was complications in the donation. I have witnessed it almost once a month. Luckily my wife didn't get paid only one time and it was because the lights flickered and messed up their system. I usually sit and wait feeling terrified for my wife each time she goes in because she has already had one vain busted by these untrained agressive workers, been bruised over her vain nearly every other visit, and went home feeling sick with a nearly fully purple arm one time.
-Risk of damaging vains permanently.
-Takes new donors around 3-7 hours most of the time unless you are lucky.
-Call wise, left on hold for over half an hour then hung up on.
Hard working people doing the best they can with what they've been given. Very sweet people. Patience is a virtue
-Other visitors vary from very good hearted, decent, desperate people trying to pay a bill, get food, or save their homes, all the way to scary looking people that look like tv druggies.
-(Regulars)They tell you when you come in, because you aren't allowed to just come in when you feel like it.
