Upon moving to Fort Smith for work, I started to seek a location to train. After attending two different training locations in the local area, I came to try out Championship MMA. It did not take but a few seconds to notice the professionalism/ discipline in this academy's training environment. Students were very enthusiastic, and Coach Bales was very approachable. In addition, the academy was extremely clean! I was hesitant on the kick boxing portion of the curriculum due to a negative experience at a previous academy. The first practice I attended was taught in a manner where I didn't feel completely lost, or lack of enthusiasm. Coach Bales with the help of Coach Petree are able to identify the effective training styles that best suit the individual student that promotes positive development. The 20+ years of training/ instructing, respect to the students, patience, and passion of MMA is truly recognizable and is the foundation of what makes Championship MMA the perfect place to train. I have learned and developed tremendously in such a small amount of time. I would advise anyone looking to train in the area to not waste time, and just come give Championship MMA a try.
