Continued At this point, we went back inside for Tyler to ask his manager of any known problems or what had happened to the vehicle. His manager stated ignorance of any issues with the auto or any accidents. Thinking this was the extent of the problems, due to the car being boxed in and not having a clear view of the front bumper, we proceeded to the finance office. After waiting there, we decided to drive the vehicle, as we now had the keys and Tyler was busy with the finance people. Upon driving, the 4x4 was noticeably noisy when activated off-road creating a high pitch sound. Upon arrival back at the dealership, we parked next to his vehicle, in the open, and were able to get a good look at the vehicle from 20 feet away in all directions. At this point we noticed the right rear bumper cover had a rip in the bottom section directly behind the muffler and stabilizer bar. At the same time we are looking at the rear bumper cover and the damage found, in plain view of the complete dealership, my brother was called over the outside loudspeakers to immediately come to the finance office, no doubt alerted we were discovering the seriousness of the autos true issues at this point. While walking back to the sales office with Tyler and his "Manager and new finance/salesman", we asked both what had happened to the vehicle. Both claimed no knowledge of any problems and continued walking. We both noticed the DVD remote, wireless headphones, and navigation map disc were missing. Tyler stated they would be ordered and no one could locate them. Then upon further inspection, at the left front bumper hitch area, 2 large gouges were noticed mid bumper. Upon further inspection of the engine undercarriage, it was found to have damage at the crossover pipe, new components on suspension, and possibly a new engine oil pan. At this point, the manager went inside and I asked Tyler to level with me. He stated he knew nothing of the problem. It became obvious that the vehicle had hit an object as high as the middle left front bumper, that object had traveled the length of the car from front left to right rear, and damaged the vehicle at all points in between. Either the car was fine when bought at auction or upon trade in and a salesman had used the car as a driver and high centered while 4x4ing or the car was bought as is for very little money with the intent to pawn the vehicle on some unsuspecting individual. Either way, the whole experience speaks volumes of the dealership and there true motivation. It is definitely not the consumer. Please inspect all used vehicles purchased here for defects and missing factory installed components as the salesmen or service center here cannot be relied upon with an emphasis upon "lied".
