Could not have been more pleased. These people really care about you and your animal! My cat is FeLV positive, and other vets I've taken her to have written her off as helpless. But Dr. Reeder treated her with such compassion and is really doing all she can to help my little kitty. I will never take my animals anywhere else!!
Dr. Gwen Reeder and Dr. Amanda Barnett have literally saved the lives of my "babies" many times, including saving one's life this week--who was near death--and saving another from severe arthritis pain this week (and even though he's almost 12 years old and hurt badly just a few weeks ago, he runs around now like a pup thanks to these fine doctors). These two wonderful people are the best, most compassionate, most caring vets period! They really care about providing quality and compassionate care and if they don't have the facilities or equipment to treat your animal, they will refer you to the best quality professionals who can care for your animal, such as Dr. Terry Dew in Russellville. If your animal is in pain, Dr. Reeder and Dr. Barnett are the perfect choice. Nice persons and a great staff, including Rhonda Davis (who really, really, really cares about people and animals), and others who really care. The entire staff really cares for your animals, or babies--as I prefer to call them. I love my babies just as if they were my children and I would not go to some vet that didn't care about them. Dr. Reeder and Dr. Barnett both make sure that their staff cares about your babies, just as you do and they both provide top-notch quality animal medical care. Thanks to both of these fine professionals.
I took my dog to be taken care of for Friday and Saturday they told me $15 per night. They didn't mention any additional fees or anything. When I dropped her off they said no problem except you can't pick her back up unail Monday because we don't do pick ups on Sundays. They didn't mention that I had to pay for the additional night. Nor did they mention that I had to pay for a bath that cost $20 surprise ! (As a first time dog owner and have never put a dog into a Kennel which I made abundantly clear I feel like they could have set better more clear expectations. Therefore I wouldn't have gone in expecting to pay $30 plus taxes and ended up with a total bill of $70 !) So word to the wise ask more questions than I did or you will be in for a real surprise when you go to pick up your pet !!!!
My family has been taking our pets here for about five years. There are two vets here and we love one and refuse to see the other. Amanda is wonderful and thorough. Dr. Reader is awful and quite frankly I will never allow her to see my dogs.

I would just like to say that we have been using AAHC for about a year now for our Shih Tzu and have not had one issue. For those complaining about clinic policies? They are up on the wall, behind the receptionists cubicle in large print. Everything explained in plain English. There is no need to try and say, "Oh, they must have just put them up after I complained." Wrong, I read them the first time we took our dog in there, like I said, a =bout a year ago. All of the people at AAHC are profressional and very compassionate with the people and animals that I have seen brought in. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing animal care.
Thank you,
