Clean lots of people. Nice exhibitions , interactive for the kids. Trail have not been maintained well in past month. Maybe all the rain has impacted their efforts.
This Nature Center is absolutely gorgeous! My dog and I love walking the trails around Wells Lake. The Nature Center has a lot of fun activities for children. You can also fish in the Lake. Very nice addition to the thriving Chaffee Crossing area of Fort Smith.
A safe and family-friendly outing! The Nature Center boasts several animals native to Arkansas; including poisonous snakes, turtles, and fish. Several exhibits explain Arkansas geology and biology. An extensive and well marked walking trail system is available for the ones wishing to brave the humidity and heat. For the less adventurous, an indoor bird-watching area is available.
