I dropped off my machine because the light over the needle was going off after a few minutes of use. When it was assessed about 5 days later, I was told it needed a new power board and it would take another week. I do ALOT of sewing, so this was a major inconvenience, but doable. A week later I drove 2 hrs to pick it up after work and in a thunderstorm, so I just paid and loaded it up. Two days later when I was ready to get sewing I realized they did not return my power cord or presser foot! So I used ones from my backup machine and found out that the light was STILL broken! When I called to report these issues, I was told to check my car and residence for the cords (eventhough I had bagged them and tied them to the machine). And regarding the light issue I was told that was too bad and I would have to make the 2 hr drive back for them to look at it again, and she raised her voice at me when I told her how unhappy I was. I would NEVER recommend this place! I now have to spend additional money and time to fix the light and replace the pieces they didn't return. What a waste!

I've been using Central Sewing Center for years. Ann is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Anytime I've had a question or problem she's been right there to cheer me on and give me the extra confidence I've needed. Their sewingmachine repair work is top notch. Wouldn't go any where else!
I arrived more than than half an hour before posted closing time and they were already closed. No posted sign stating they would be closing early. Closing before 5:20 pm when your hours posted states that you're open until 6pm is very bad for business. Kind of a let down. Not sure if I'll go out of my way to check them out again.
