If you have a child who loves American Girl dolls or you are just a child at heart and love toys, board games, collectible action figures this place is great for all that! My wife collects American Girl dolls, and we heard they had started carrying them, she was stoked!
Once again I was disappointed by an inattentive, ambivalent staff. The toy selection and prices are fine, but tonight I was reminded why I haven't been in this store in over a year. My complaints were met by a manager who seemed incapable of doing anything and a team member who injected himself into the situation by getting hostile.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. if you can order it online and have it shipped to your home, do so. i called two days in a row looking for my layaway order that had been paid for and their system kept showing it as pending ( which isn't there fault i know) but the attitude when i asked when i would be able to pick up the hundreds of dollars of toys WAS there own doing. i was polite and just trying to figure out when i would finally get my order since it was paid for. today i received and emailing saying i could finally pick it up and i called on my way over to let them know i was on my way and see if they could start gathering it up. i got there about ten minutes later and no one had a clue what i was talking about at first until 5 different employees were yelling at each other over their ear pieces. lou enough for me to here the chaos. while everyone else is running around as well. there were a couple other people there quite frustrated waiting for management. needless to say after hearing some foul language and lots of scrambling, thirty minutes later i finally received my toys.
This store is a mess, which is unfortunate because it’s one of the few toy only stores in Ft Smith. The shelves are always disorganized and many items aren’t priced - leading to having to hunt down a working price scanner. The store operates on a skeleton crew. Many times the only cashier available is doing triple duty as returns, phone operator, and cashier.
Me, I'm a Star Wars fanatic and geek out every time I'm in that particular section.
Store is disgusting. Trash in floor. Went in mens bathroom toilet was marked out of order the other stall was filthy. No paper of any kind. Soap dispenser broken. Toys were thrown all over the isles. Many items were out of place making it impossible to tell the prices of items. Prices seemed to be all at MSRP. There were a bunch of extra staff there that were seasonal that did not know where items were. Prime example of why brick and mortar stores are becoming extinct and anyone with any sense is shopping online.
Great place to shop. 5 stars.
The positive thing about this store is, when they run their yearly clearance event, there’s some great deals to be found.
