This place was recommended by the lady at Best Western where I am staying overnight. It is a cozy local diner nearby the hotel. Blackened Chicken Strips were tasty. The fried tomato is a must try. The waitresses were kind and attentive. I had a nice chat with one of the lady working there. Good folks and good food.
They serve pecan cinnamon rolls free with every meal! They taste awesome. They have pretty great sides and fried chicken anything too. It's like going to grandmas house, but grandma can cook without making everything greasy.
My family loves this restaurant. We have ate there many times and each time we loved it. The food is great, the service is good. We have had some slow days where service gets a little slow especially when packed; however, they have tons of cool stuff on the walls to look at, tv's. And instead of getting rolls like most restaurants they serve cinnamon rolls. We once had food to be cold and wrong but our server corrected it for us. I would recommend this to anyone . good food, good drinks, good times
November, 2017. The food was ok, the dining area is filled with relics on the walls and the staff were all fantastic. I wouldn't stand in line to eat here but the portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. My turkey dinner came with dressing and I really liked it. The pinto beans and turkey were both good. The cinnamon roll was good but over rated.
Good food and great atmosphere. The food is worth the wait. Must try the cinnamon rolls
