Beware of the service department! Called about a software update for our infotainment system. This update is listed by Chevy to take 1 hour. Orr (was talking to Joe) quoted us 2 hours, saying "that's how long it's been taking them and that if they get it done faster than that then the price will come down". Here's the thing, when a reputable business quotes a job they will quote "book" hours.
So say for instance you're getting head gaskets replaced. Typical book hours for head gaskets are 8 hours. They charge 8 hours plus parts and taxes. If they get it done in 6 hours they still charge the 8 and vise versa. If they get it done in 10, it might be because of mechanics knowledge or experience, but they still only charge you 8.
I have had nothing but great experiences with the Orr Service Dept.. Always helpful in every way providing quality service. My car always comes back to me cleaner than when I dropped it off. Thanks for being one of the few companies that I feel I can count on.
